Washington, DC—Data Society is excited to announce that CEO and Co-founder Merav Yuravlivker will be among the honorees at Washington Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Awards celebration on July 14, 2022. The awards are given annually to recognize the outstanding achievements of young leaders in the Washington, DC, area who lead us into the future through hard work, philanthropy, and community engagement.

Merav Yuravlivker leads Data Society and assists the Instructional Design Team in developing over 240 virtual live instructor-led data science courses, training, and boot camps, which have upskilled over 10,000 professionals to date. Merav is at the center of creating a company culture that encourages and supports diversity, leadership, and inclusion.
Merav’s leadership has been a driving force in Data Society’s growth and expertise in the delivery of data science training to Fortune 500 and government agencies. Data Society was listed in the top half of the Inc 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies 2021 and ranked #22 in the Mid-Atlantic Fastest-Growing Inc 5000 2022. Merav sits on the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council and has created pro-bono food apps to locate food deserts in Washington, DC, for school children during the pandemic.
