Our data science training programs give learners in the energy sector the skills they need to solve real-world business and engineering problems. Our current offerings include more than 130 cohort-based, instructor-led courses on a range of data science topics. To support learner success and engagement, we provide cohorts with instructors, coaches, tutors, and opportunities for applied learning through our capstone projects.

Data Science Training for Advanced Analytics
For a regional power ISO, Data Society created a bespoke training program that empowered the client’s Advanced Analytics Group to spearhead new data science-focused investigations and analysis in regional transmission. We developed a custom course curriculum that included topics such as clustering techniques, decision trees, and neural and feed-forward networks, which accelerated the client’s ability to understand their markets and more effectively increase market stability.
Industry-Specific Academies for Applied Data Science Learning
For a large utility that aspired to a widespread cultural evolution through data, Data Society worked with their internal data science teams to develop a nine-month program that incorporated the client’s use cases and datasets into a Python curriculum.
In addition to their assignments and classwork, learners complete and present a capstone project related to their work. Data Society has trained more than 1,000 professionals across the client’s organization through this program.
